Just the thing for series charing multiple battery packs
If you have a charger that is capable of putting out more power than is required to charge your packs at 1C, but is capable of charging higher series cell count batteries, this is the way to cut your charging time by more efficiently using your charger.
For example, I have two 2S, 5000 mAh packs I want to charge. My charger is 80 W max, and 6 A max, but can charge up to 6S worth of LiPos. I can either charge them at 5 A, one after another, or I can charge them both in series at 3.6 A. The thing is that I then don't have to stop and change batteries in the middle. After two hours, they'll both be charged, instead of an hour and 40 minutes each.
You can cut off the Traxxas High Current connectors and solder on whichever ones you're using.
So here's the deal!
It works out the same pretty much...
Charging two at a time u have to lower the volts but ur charging two!
So one at a time takes a little less time but then u have to charge the 2nd one!
But this way u charge both longer but both r done at same time!
I'm so glad I didn't have to but another charge since I up graded to the X-MAXX!
