A piece of my childhood returned....
Classic Tamiya @ it's finest!! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Built just like the original 80's release but with all of the updates. Just buy one, or buy 2 and stuff the other in the attic. There is little left in this world that reminds me of my childhood but... When you can have a small piece of it back for short money, then, that to me is priceless. Just procuring all of the paint/supplies, and then building it was just like when I used to as a kid. How do you put a price on smiles? AWESOME BEETLE!!!
I love this! It comes molded in red and looks great red, but I wanted to personalize it a little so I painted the body light blue and it looks great. I haven’t began building it yet but will soon. I have the Tamiya Lunch Box monster van which I recently completed the assembly. The Beetle assembles very similarly. The van had a few challenges, but I believe it may be easier building the Beetle from the experience with the van assembly. I look forward to assembling the Beetle and know it will be a pleasure building it. I highly recommend Tamiya models.
