This prefabricated Zimmerit surrogate helps "cutting the corners". I don´t have to go through the messy process of applying this kind of putty to my all-metal Tiger tank model. The material is smooth and can be worked with. Several measurements though are, at least on the complicated rear engine compartment cover, not very correct. It took me some time to adjust these with a pair of finger nail scissors. Good for the serious modeler with not-endless time on his hands.

Taigen zimmerit sheet : Time saver, but need modification.
A great time saver, spare me a lot of elbow grease. Some work are needed on the turret if you are working with a Heng Long tank. It was HL tank's turret fault.

All in all a good product
Very good product if you are upgrading your tank to a mid or late war production. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturers of this item is that some extra sheets of zimmerit are included so that you can patch any spots that may not be covered.

Goes on well with evostick spray on sheet leave for a couple of mins then apply to tank great matreal ie i had to pull some up to realign it and I was surprised to find how stretchy and strong it is . Delivery was as I expected quick . I would like too know if they do it in sheet form as im wonting to trick the transmitter up a bit .
