Beach
I watch each weekend as people struggle to air down their tires to 18 psi, the mandatory pressure for driving on Sandy Neck Beach, Cape Cod Ma. I've seen people use pencils, pens ,the ends of their keys, small pebbles something to push that pin in the valve down , Then they have to stop frequently to check pressure with a tire pressure gauge to get them right. Do that on 4 tires... I screw these on,(have verified they stop at approx. 18psi), wait till they stop and then happily wave 'bye bye' to the others still airing down. Would I recommend, you bet, and have done so to many beach goers, as so many ask me 'Hey do those really work'.. Yep they do.. No problem
I tried the valves yesterday for the first time.They worked flawlessly,and it took less than 5 minutes to air down.They were advertised to be set at 18#,and after using,my final results were 3 tires at 18 and 1 at 17….I don’t think you can get any closer.They are definitely overpriced with the competition, but they are excellent quality and perform perfectly.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

These are well made and of consistent construction and quality materials. Considering their function, they must be made with precision, or they will not operate properly. A tire pressure gauge of known accuracy must be used to establish the set point on these devices. I found the devices to be very consistent in their operation. Both in the calibration phase, and in the usage phase.
