Lot Of 2 SQUARE D Homeline AC Power Surge Protector Surgebreaker HOM2175SB is easy to install and I can see results all ready. The A/C has high enough starting amps to show up in the lighting circuits. This surge suppressor and pretty well compensated for that. A lot of two gives me a back up depending how log they hold up. Easy way to get whole house surge protection
If you have a Square D Homeline electrical breaker panel then this is the easiest way to get whole house surge protection. You simply install this in the panel as you would a double pole breaker and voila you have protection. You also have to attach the included white neutral wire to your neutral bus bar. My only issue was that it is recommended that the surge breaker be installed as close as possible to the main power lugs (where power enters your panel) and I had to move my 30A double pole clothes dryer breaker to another position. Great product to protect $4,000.00 kitchen appliances from lightning strike electronic board destruction
Whole home surge protection in the power distribution box(breaker box) is cheaper than $20 per outlet fridge, dish washer, microwave, washing machine, TV, Stereo, some water softeners have electronic digital computer boards susceptible to lighting strike damage. $700.00 just for the refrigerator computer board then add the labor to visit and repair. Easy surge protection
This is the most easiest form of surge protection. If you have a empty double pole breaker spot all you’ll have to do is snap it in and hook up you ground to the bus bar. Installs in a Panel Slot with One Neutral Wire
