This Lens Should Always Be In Your Bag
A very versatile lens indeed. Great focal range, weather sealed and image stabilization built in. F/4 helps keep the weight, size and price of the lens down. This is a great travel lens or wedding lens if you pair it with a fast prime like Sony's 50mm 1.2 GM. Great build quality, feels solid. I highly recommend this lens.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Great travel lens.
Super crispy lens with a lot of useful focal lengths. Large but still reasonable to throw in a backpack. The rings aren't as smooth as my SEL1635G or SEL70300G but it feels much better than a tamron, and OSS is incredible - I can freehand shots down to 1/6s if I'm very steady. Best lens for all-around work.

Great multipurpose lens for most occasions

Excellent all purpose lens
For event shooting, I rarely use a normal zoom, usually I go with a 16-36 and 70-200 2.8’s. I have owned a couple 24-70mm 2.8 GM’a but find this 24-105mm f4 G to be very close optically to the 24-70gm, but much better range when I try to make it with just one lens on an assignment. Nice range, but mediocre resolution
Not all that sharp. Seems well made. Functions well. Pictures are decent, but not much better than the cheaper kit lens, the 28-70mm. The GM is better...even the original GM 24-70mm is better. Great lens and you won't be disappointed by the price. Basically a budget GM lens that won't break the bank.

Wife approved!

great utility lens
