A Great Camera Deal for the Right Price
Unbeatable deal for the price. If one doesn't have a need for a lack of Articulating LED, no high ISO setting, no high shutter speeds, no useless very high mega pixiel count. No major increase of on screen sensors.No high Kelvin temperatures.No high shutter speeds. If one has been living without these features then who really cares. In Love with this camera!
My favorite thing about this camera is the quick menu and the function button that allows you to do everything right on the screen! I like the options of the focusing, specifically the contuses focusing! Its great when I shoot weddings! Of course I would love the face detection like the new A77 but I will have that eventually! A700 is a really good camera.
Used to use this but gave mine to my daughter and bought a A900. Found the A900 too professional for me as it lacked the "quick set" button images on top and lacked the flash. Great Camera

Used camera in very good shape
I love this A-700 Sony model, it takes great pictures and weighs half as much as my Nikon D70 which is a big deal when you do all day photo shooting while traveling. Sony A700 a best learning tool for digital photography
i own a half dozen Sony A700. .It is a great camera for those people interested in the art of photography in the digital age. Camera manufacturers can choose to do better. In the case of Sony A700 to enter the market Sony choose to do better. It's value as a camera is lasting.
