Well-suited for high-speed sports photography or just for catching a unique sequence, this Sony 16.1 MP camera features Sony's popular Translucent Mirror Technology, which enables the Sony alpha a57 to shoot at 10 fps with continuous auto-focus and auto-exposure control. Additionally, the Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor at the core of this digital SLR camera brings high resolution with reduced noise, even in low-light situations. To rapidly zoom in on a scene, this Sony 16.1 MP camera deploys tele-zoom high-speed shooting with a 1.4x increase of focal length. Sony's exclusive By Pixel Super Resolution Technology enhances the Sony alpha a57, doubling the effective focal length, therefore providing greater shooting flexibility. Other features of this digital SLR camera include an eye-level electronic viewfinder with an easy-to-use interface, SteadyShot INSIDE stabilization, and a tilt-and-swivel 3-inch (7.62-cm) LCD screen. Fabulous Camera
I first got a Sony A57 a few years ago for a trip to South Africa. It exceeded my expectations! I just got another one to keep on a tripod to take photos of birds at our feeder. I am using Minolta Maxxum lenses which work perfectly and equally as well at a fraction of the the cost of similiar Sony lenses. This is a good travel camera! Very flexible and produces great prints! Excellent Camera. very satisfied. For a used camera.
I purchased the Sony Alpha 57 for my caribbean cruise. I took over 1000 pictures and some video. I still have a lot to learn about camera what a huge product for such a reasonable buy, as I bought it used. I am so happy, so satisfied. I cannot believe the beauty and the clarity of the pictures. SONY A57 - Older Workhorse, great shooting features
Used Camera bodies...know this: Bad Pixels are sometimes hard to spot until a critical moment. The only drawback to this purchase was two bad pixel clusters on the sensor. Good Buy - Better Than Expected
The camera arrived promptly and was in good condition. But I had to purchase battery for it. The extras were also useful. Better yet, the seller was very helpful in answering questions. A solid camera for A-Mount/Minolta AF.
Great as a stills camera, great as a video camera too with two caveats. The first being that in autofocus mode you are limited to a fixed f3.5 and it is limited to less than 30mbps avchd codecs. This camera is a great choice if you are on a budget due to the quality and cost of Minolta AF lenses. A lot of the Sony lenses sadly have plastic mounts and the gears in my kit lens stripped, so they don’t make them like they used to quite literally. The phase detect af is fast and accurate but it is fairly light dependent, so not the best choice for low light situations. Built in 3.5mm audio jacks and DC power in port make this a great desk camera for youtubers.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

My most favourite sports camera!
I love this camera I shoot sports it’s fast and photos are great quality. I use the Tamron f2.8 200 mm lens. I have tried newer versions of cameras but keep going back to my A-57. In love with this camera. Hope this helps! I feel price is very reasonable for a great camera. I shoot a 1600 iso and very little grain.
