Best upgrade for 4L60e
Sonnax makes great upgrade components for a lot of transmissions and this Smar Shell is one example of strengthening the vulnerability of the 4L60e. It spreads the load better thus helps transfer the power better while creating less drag with the bearing over the plastic washer. I got better load distribution and the Shell spun freely without wobbling like on the plastic washer. I was definitely impressed with the new design. I installed this in my 700r4. The dimensions are very close to the OE shell I pulled out of my trans. This is a superior part compared to other HD shells out there.
