Great watch
I have had this watch for about a month now. Love mostly everything about it. Notice it does have a weak antenna system for the lte transceiver. ie poor cell signal reception when not in a urban enviroment. But I king of expected that for the compact size of watch. There are a handful of apps and seem to be growing. I am a Chrysler auto technician and was suprised that I was able to use the internet browser with the Witech 2.0 system and able to do anything I could do with a cell phone or a laptop. Being a technician that was a huge bonus for me. Not to mention the ease of being able to view text messages and reply with preset messages faster than I could text with my Note 8. And now that it is illegal in Georgia to touch a cellphone while driving. This is a loophole, I can safely answer calls while on a test drive. And if I forget and leave my cell phone at work, no biggie. I also installed a weather radar app on the watch that is quite handy. Overall I do love the watch. Nice Upgrade
I was very reluctant to purchase this. I am in love with my Gear S rectangle large screen. However it is on the verge of not working and I figured it was time to upgrade. I am getting adjusted to all of the upgraded features. The only thing I dislike is the T-9 texting. I am adapting to the smaller screen size. Amazing hardware, STUPID software enviroment
Of the 6 smartwatches I have owned, this one is hands down the cleanest, classiest, best designed and built. The hardware was exceptional, and the interface on the device was clever and intuitive. BUT... The last Samsung device I liked was an old Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. Everything since then has been Apple clones- they know better than you do what you want and need, and you are FORCED into their idea about reality. This watch was USELESS without a paired smartphone. And it had better be a Samsung phone, at that. There is no way to natively get online via wifi, no way to connect to the Samsung store, basically it is a large heavy timekeeper without a smartphone pairing. Also, Verizon informs me that this is not a standalone device, even though it has an LTE sim embedded- it MUST be tied to a smartphone line to work on their network- even though I setup and account with them and was billed- yet neither data nor voice or text worked. But that is a different review Did I say smartPHONE? Yes, because you can't load the android pairing app on your tablet. Even my 4G Verizon tablet. So I side loaded it- with no success at pairing at all. Even going back several generations on the app, It WOULD not recognize the watch. I figured that I would pair it with my dumb phone, and send the contacts over Bluetooth- no protocol for that. (in 2019?!?!) Finally I dug out an older Motorola smartphone, running android 5. Downloaded the app, and.... Nothing. It said it would not show the available devices to connect to, because my phone needed to have at least 1.5G of memory free. Great watch with a couple little quirks
Excellent quality smart-watch. Well built, love that the wrist-band changes out so easily. Great screen, easy to use, lots of watch faces to choose from in the Samsung app-store. Integrates well with Samsung Health phone app. A couple of cons: Tizen OS doesn't integrate well with Google apps. It also doesn't track my steps and flights of stairs nearly as well as my Fitbit Surge did. I have 2 flights of stairs in my house that I go up and down multiple times a day, and some days my Gear S3 says I've only done 1 or 2. My step count also seems really low. I've been looking for a way to calibrate it so it tracks better, but Samsung doesn't seem to provide any way to do it. Other than those couple complaints, it's a great watch. Easy to set up and use. Great Smart Watch
This thing is amazing. I love it. The screen is great. I like the bezel twiasting for moving between items on the screen. One thing I long for is the ability to utilize Google for searcing in place of S-Voice. But I knew I could not do that before purchasing. I do not wear my watch while I sleep. I put my watch on the charger every night, so, I have no battery issues. I think I could get about 36 hours out of my battery but I haven't pushed it to the limit. I use the bluetooth connectivity via my phone for network connectivity. It works great. I have made calls via the watch and it works well. The ability to swap out and in standard watch bands (22mm) is great. I love the heart rate monitor and the step tracking. I thought I'd hate these features and disable them. Everything you want in a watch plus some! easy to use
Does NOT unpair from phone unless you want it to. So many things it can do. I LOVE this watch i dont know why i didnt buy it sooner. I did add it to my verizon plan. Best smartwatch ever! I previously owned an LG urbane 2nd edition & it wasn't compatible w Android Wear 2 & also that LG watch compared to Samsung s3 is terrible. Although I do honestly think that the S3 would put any other watch to shame. Trust me bc I was skeptical & hesitant too until I layed eyes on my S3. The quality, design, hardware, & button/turnable bezel are unbeatable. PS I'm a girl with tiny wrists & it's still fits so good & comfortably.

Awesome smart watch!
I love this watch! It's so great to leave my phone at home and still be able to make/receive calls and texts. When I have my phone with me, it easily reconnects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to use my cell phones cellular plan or Wi-Fi. It won't totally replace your cell phone for web searching because of the smaller screen, but it can do everything my cell phone can do. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 so I have very smooth connectivity and setup. Cannot comment on how easily that works with a non-Samsung cell phone.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion
