A good intro to all of the covered transmissions. Watch his videos for a better take on individual trans.
Watched a bunch of the authors UTube videos. Book sounded great. It does leave a few things out. "to reassemble, just reverse the process" There are some good tips tho. A complete list of gears and tooth counts for all the trans mentioned would be a great addition.

This book not to good for ford top loader does not have id charts that idemize case tags or tail shaft housing casting numbers and if you can buy parts like 28 spline tail shaft vs 31 spline tail shaft and if the case brg is the same for both shafts same thing inside the gear box whether all the gears are the same for either tailshaft

Basic book of a manual trans rebuild, I Expected more from this book
Very basic trans rebuild book. the words, performance mods and modify, high-performance. got my interest, only to be disappointed when i went through the book.

Excellent quality, with clear photos of those highly critical details. Most important is the page quality helps to prevent "oil fingerprints".
