    Great appearance. The pieces look like they should work well and really improve the kit's presence as a model.

    This PE set is actually designed for the Academy kit 14402,but playing with it, it looks like it should fit the Meng kit most of the time with few adjustments. The set is beautifully presented, but following the intent of the instructions takes some work at times. It should get better as you get accustomed to the process. I have not yet tried to use any of the pieces,so cannot comment on that important aspect.

    The absolutely best and most comprehensive photo etch for 1/700 Titanic by Academy currently available on the market. Absolutely worth purchasing, the price notwithstanding, since the model will be quite spectacular. Not for beginners though, but neither is the one from Tom's Modelworks.

    This is THE 1/700 Titanic upgrade kit to beat the rest!

    Intricate, detailed photo-etched replacement parts for the 1/700 scale Academy Titanic model! A beautiful way to ad realism and historical accuracy to this scale of model kit! I highly recommend it! Can't wait to build my Titanic model with these gorgeous parts added to it!
