    Cleaner for delicate instruments

    Being a photographer, wearer of glasses, music and movie fan I find myself using ROR Residual Oil Remover on a daily basis. In my experience the product should be used with Kimtech Kimwipes for cleaning virtually all delicate surfaces. I'm a little rough with my music CD's and sometimes have oily hand smudges on the playing surface which can render the discs unplayable. ROR spray used with Kimwipes is the first product I've found that can clean the surface residue free. Same experience with my glasses and for cleaning my camera lens as well as cleaning the contact points between the lens and the camera body. Sometimes a light brush isn't enough to clean an oily smudge on a delicate surface. Now my equipment and media surfaces are crystal clear. I can't say enough good things about this product used with Kimwipes.

    efficient and easy to use

    I've been using ROR for a couple of years now and even though other efficient solutions exist that could maybe match ROR when it comes to cleaning lens internals, I keep coming back to it. Also, a small bottle goes a long way.

    I recommend

    I actually bought this to clean my cds.seems to make a subtle improvement in the quality of the sound.I find that it left no residue or cloudiness on the disks.i gather it has many other uses as it states on the label.

    Not just another soapy water cleaner

    I actually heard about this product from a worker at the Kennedy space Center! I figured if it was good enough for NASA it would be good enough for me. I’m amazed that it leaves no residue at all, most every other solution I have used leaves streaks of some sort. I know it’s expensive, but for high-quality photograph of optics, all the way down to my prescription glasses, I’m even my iPad screen. This stuff is great!

    Use this to clean your optics

    After trying everything else, this will clean your optics and leave no residue. Just put a drop or two on a pure cotton ball and clean the lens, then use another cotton ball to dry the lens. It will leave the lens sparkling. Of course use a good blower to remove the dust first. Spotting scope, binoculars, rifle scopes, cleans them all.

    ROR works great on camera lenses!

    Residual Oil Remover works very well on camera lenses, even eyeglasses. Easiest product I’ve used that doesn’t leave any residue.

    Good for glasses not for countertops

    My wife used this on her glasses and liked it. I tried to remove scratches from a man made product used for a countertop and it didn't.

    Lens and Filter Cleaner Solution

    Camera lens and lens filters need to be periodically cleaned. This liquid is 2 ounces which is a more reasonable price.
