Great phone mount.
Got this along with a diamond plate ball mount for the back, and a tough claw base. Already had a small section of connector. After assembly it fits my iphone xr With otterbox case great, and holds it securely. With the tough claw on a straight section of handlebar, my Suzuki vs1400 moves before the mount does when i push and pull on it. Its nice to be able to put the phone in and out one handed. Another good thing is that the camera is also clear of the mount, so i could so video if i wanted. Of course, the bike probably vibrates to much for a clear picture. As it is easy on and off, ill probably use it on my boat and atv as well. Definitely recommended.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Blocks camera usage
Other than a blockage in the use of the camera and fingerprint scanner while the phone is in the holder it is a great item. If I need to take a picture I have to take my phone off the cradle and by then what I'm trying to photograph has run away or is hidden from view. They need to make the slides farther apart. I will say this however it is much better than my other Ram Mount which is the X Grip which doesn't even hold my Phone once it's in a case!Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Very good phone holder thingy!
This replaced an X-type holder that kept losing its rubber bungs which allowed the phone to slip out. I got tired of messing with it and went on a search of different holders that were RAM mount compatible. The PD4U By RAM seemed like a good replacement and it has been! Awesome product-Definely buy!
I have lost my phone with other RAM products (namely X-Grip) because of the rough dual sport riding I do. This is a great phone mount. You need to make sure that you are getting the LARGE mount of you are using most phones today due to size. I mistakenly ordered one that apparently was a 'normal' size....looked like it would hold an iPhone4 or something. I bought 2, one for my KLR650 and one for my Wr250R. Got a new phone so this is my 2nd one and it is awesome on my cruiser!
I was leery how this thing would grip my phone, but once adjusted for width, its IN there and holds extremely well at all speeds. I used my old 1" ball socket and I have 100% trust in this product to keep my phone protected while on my bike! The springs seem really tight(a good thing) but not too tight as to move the position of holder when removing and putting phone in the holder. Works great.
Works perfect for my new phone. Had 2 complete Ram mounts for a GPS and now went with a large phone and Google maps so I needed a new holder. Just got this holder and it fit perfectly on my existing mount. Easy to use and holds phone securely and steady. Works like the smaller mount, but bigger

One of the BEST
I looked at several different phone mounts for motorcycles. This was one of the ones I found that actually cradled your phone and didn't have rubber bands securing the phones corners. Great easy ti use phone holder

Unlike the Xgrip you can insert and remove your phone with one hand. That was the number one reason I purchased this phone holder, it works great for my needs. one hand operation, sturdy
Pros: - I can insert and extract the phone with only one hand. I use a 6.5"phone, plenty of room. - The spring is super-strong, no chance for the phone to slip. Much more robust than the RAM X-grip that broke apart on me twice. - The choice of lateral stop pin position is handy, as not to interfere with the phone buttons (X-grip grips the laterals, and it interfered with the buttons). - The phone can be waterproofed in a transparent light pouch, and can be extracted much quicker from this holder than from a dedicated zipper-waterproof one.
