Works as it was designed. Quality tool.
I just tried it out to drill just a hole and to chase a hole in a pinewood derby official body with the grove. Adjustment is quite easy and very precise. Take your time lining up your hole. Also, I would loosely insert the drill to make sure it was lined up accurately with the body grove. Clamp and your ready to drill. Drill holes before any body modifications to make it easier. I used to drill wheel holes in a drill press, but this tool is easier and more accurate. I haven't used the 2 1/2 ° holes yet. This is a quality metal precision tool. I have assisted with building a lot of the cars, and inserting axles is difficult for anyone. No more forcing or hammering nails. This tool will solve that issue. Well built and will last for a long time. If you build one or ten this tool is worth it.

Pinewood Derby Car PRO Driller Tool
Great tool, compensates for the irregular dimensions or the BSA solid wood blocks. Other tools on the market are difficult to use because the wood blocks vary in width. The PRO Driller Tool can be adjusted to any width. Highly recommend it for drilling axle holes..

Adjustable, clamp it once to drill the holes
Able to adjust jig for different size width of blocks. Also can drill off set hole with out repositioning. The holes on bottom of jig make easy to line up for drilling.

great product. I wish someone would make one with additional holes at 2.5deg and 1.5 deg as well... perhaps in the future.

Set the axles right.
This product takes the guessing out of how to set the axles. The block comes with precut slots but, there's more to it.
