Smooth as Silk and Tough
We have used Pflueger size 20 reels on ultra lights for many years. Those reels have been flawless. Actually landed a 50 lb nurse shark using the Plueger 20 and an Ugly Stik 4'6" ultra lite rod. We were fishing for sea trout at the time. My wife and son have also caught smaller sturgeon with this combination. So, one might say that Pflueger reels are both smooth and tough. We have opted for the Pfluger President 30 size paired with a 5'6" Ugly Stik ultra light medium for inshore salt water fishing because we still want the ultra light action, but slightly larger combination. Constantly the best spinning reel year after year. I use spinning tackle a lot and am always researching different brands on features, cost and reviews from other anglers. Pflueger President P30
The bail is all bent out of shape. And will not go over the spool when trying to cast. Too late to return now. Took it out this morning and like I said the bail wouldn't go over the spool. If you look at photos of the other reels online they will not be bent at the bail.
