Fish lose their will to live. Order a fish cookbook!
Buy this only if you have a freezer. Basically use good line, tie good knots, use the right bait in right place then simply hold the rod with this reel properly attached over the water and be the fish slaying envy of all who dare to view and be humbled. I reeled in a fish so fast the school followed it into the fish box on the boat, done! Now all I do is hold the reel where fish can see it like Moses with his staff and open the fish box, don't forget to duck, cause I made that mistake once and got finslapped. Great reel for the money. Smooth and light. I haven't caught anything big enough to test the drag yet, but it works great for bottom fishing with two hook rig and a 12oz weight so far. Mine is spooled with 500yds of 50lb power pro maxquatro and some Mono backing. I do have problems with my bait alarm clicker. The high and low setting works perfectly. The middle setting does not click proper when spinning the spool forward (line out). It does engage proper when the spool goes backwards (line in) as in reeling. Also there is a small amount of backplay, but I can deal with it I suppose. Good reel good price

Great reel
Put 60 pound mono on it and took it out into the Gulf of Mexico. Was in 70' and hooked something big, but it got off. I put it on my Stingray med-heavy rod (50-100 lbs) and it's a good balance. The adjustable clutch was great to have and worked flawlessly. For the next rod I build, I'm going bigger & heaver duty and I will go with this line of reels, just a step or two higher to match the 100 lbs +.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Solid Affordable Trolling Reel
