Almost as durable as the defender series
A very simple design that offers great protection without the bulk of the defender series. No embedded screen protector but that’s ok. I work outside for my job and when the slightest drop of water gets under the screen protector it’s a pain. Then I must dismantle the case and dry it out. To much effort. Perfect combination of protection and size
OtterBox Commuter has the perfect combination of protection while maintaining a slender profile. The Defender was just too bulky, and the Symmetry just too slim and didn't inspire confidence in protecting my phone. I used a Commuter on my prior iPhone and had it last 4ish years with MANY drops. Chic style and durability
This case meets my expectations in every way for my new iPhone 8. After Otterbox shielded my 5c for many years, protecting it during several drops, I automatically looked for another Otterbox when I upgraded. A Good Compromise Between Size & Protection
