Nothing Beats Nikon!
I bought a cheap copy of this charger from China. It immediately heated up and only partially charged my battery. The brand name one does not heat up, and fully charges the battery in two hours or less. What's not to love about that?

Better to buy from reputable source to make sure you're getting an original product.
This product does not appear to be original Nikon equipment. It came with a cable instead of with the plug built into the unit like the original. You have to position the battery at a slight angle for the charging to work, and the light does not operate the way it should (continuous 'on' when the battery is fully charged).

Exactly what was needed
I bought this thinking mine was going out and found out it is my batteries. So now I have two chargers...OH WELL LOL I am sure it works I just don't have any batteries for it to charge yet.

Exactly what I needed for a Nikon EN-EL14a Battery
I misplaced the charger that came with my camera, so I needed a replacement. This is exactly the same thing, but instead of plugging into the wall directly, it uses a cord. It's actually nicer than the original, in my opinion. If you need a replacement charger for a Nikon EN-EL14a or EN-EL14 battery, this is the way to go!

Solid performer, well built
It is a good solid charger for the 15a batteries. It will work for the 15b batteries. It is a backup for my other chargers.

Great product
Not sure if it's a genuine Nikon product but it seems to be. Looks almost identical to mine that come with my camera. Durable, not made cheap, and it charges my battery is what counts!! And shipped fast!!

How long should it last?
This is a replacement for one that came with the camera which I bought in 2012. Is it durible? My expectations are such that it only lasted 8 years. Maybe I'm being unrealistic?
