    Pricey, but solid.

    I’ve bought aftermarket grips for Nikon in the past and was sorely disappointed with not only the build quality but with the reliability. This Nikon grip, while expensive, is the best fit and quality. You can feel the solid build quality while you’re holding it and the reliability so far has been spot on. I remember when I used to attach the aftermarket brand and it would be hit or miss with connectivity to the body. With this MB-D18, it connects and registers on the LCD every time. If I ever need a grip for my Nikon camera, I will always stick to the true Nikon brand.

    Never goes wrong with Genuine Nikon Battery Pack

    I'd suggest everyone to get this if you have a D850. It gives better balance with body and lens while you get longer battery life and optional battery with 9fps.

    Good product but expensive.

    It is a good product. It is more solid than 3rd party grip and magnesium alloy reinforced. It does not flex or creek like plastic products. However functionally it is the same and third party products like the vello bg-n19-2 will work just as well to get battery and 9 fps. I give it 4 stars out of five because the value for the money is not so good.

    Important accessory for your D850.

    This product makes portraits much easier by providing a second shutter release button, and it can carry a EN-EL18C battery, which brings up the frames per seconds to nine from seven. It is made of metal and composites, so there is no worry about it breaking.

    Grip works well

    Everything in the photo came with the grip. Very minimal wear. Clean inside and out. Works as it should. Arrived as promised. The only problem I saw is that there is a large depression on the underside of the grip. Looks like a quick release attachment may have damaged the grip exterior. I did not see that on the photos nor was it mentioned in the description. I may not have bought it if I saw that groove/depression.

    Works great!

    Nikon factory product that just works. Sure, you can buy one for less but why buy the price when the rest ur gear has so many $$$ invested and an aftermarket doesn't work when u need it most.

    Can't Go Wrong with Nikon!

    I've been using Nikon products for over 50 years. I know it's better than good. I'm just waiting for the D850 price to drop. I have the D700, D800, D810 and the D4s.

    Massively increase your battery power

    If you want to shoot all day without worrying about batteries, this is the way to go. Adding this grip and battery to your D850 will give you literally thousands of shots before you run it down.
