The Nikon Coolpix S9300 digital camera is a small, GPS-equipped camera ideal for travel. This Nikon features an 18X optical zoom lens, a 16-megapixel complementary metal-oxide semiconductor sensor, a high-resolution 3-inch liquid-crystal display screen, full high-definition video recording at 1080p and a GPS receiver. The quick acting autofocus delivers crystal-clear shots while the included filters, white balance options, and skin-blurring effects let you get your creative juices flowing. The Nikon Coolpix S9300 also take your photo in 3-D, and the 1080p full HD video includes sound and is saved as an MP4 file. Since this digital camera has 26MB of internal storage and the ability to add memory with an SD, SDHD, or SDXC card, you will never run out of storage space. If you do run out of space, connect the Coolpix S9300 to your computer and clear out your photos. This Nikon digital travel camera includes a charging AC adapter, wrist strap, USB cable, A/V cable, CD-ROMs that have the Nikon ViewNX2 software, reference manual, and full manual, a 24-page quick start guide, and an EN-EL12 lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery will last for 200 shots before it needs recharging. The Nikon Coolpix S9300 has two optional accessories available for purchase: an MH-65 external battery charger and the EH-62F AC adapter. The first of these accessories allow you to charge your camera battery in 2.5 hours, instead of the four hours that the USB charger takes. The second one allows you to use the camera while it is plugged into an electrical socket. The zoom range is 25mm-250 mm, image stabilization type is lens-shift, and the LCD resolution is 921,000 pixels. The digital camera’s ISO range is 125-3200. The built-in flash has a range of 0.5-5.1m (W) and 1.5-3.0m (T), which is auto ISO as well. You can do continuous shooting at full resolution at 6.9 frames per second. The dimensions of these small Nikon travel cameras is 4.3 inches by 2.5 inches by 1.3 inches, and it only weighs 11 ounces, which is why it is such a great camera for travel. These cameras by Nikon have good image quality because the maximum resolution is 4608x3456 pixels. It has a focal length of 25mm-450mm, and the autofocus has a contrast detect sensor, multi-area, center, tracking, and face detection to make point-and-shoot picture taking that much easier. It also has a 4x digital zoom, which gives you a macro focus range of 4cm. The flash modes available are on, off, red-eye, and slow-sync. You are able to connect these digital cameras with either a USB or an HDMI mini connector. You can control the shutter speed with the shutter release/zoom controller on the right of the camera. Choose a mode before you start shooting, like burst shooting mode. The BSI sensors let more light reach the photo, which gives it high sensitivity. Excellent little point and shoot with GPS
But for the lack of a viewfinder (because seeing the rear screen in sunlight is problematic) I would have rated it 5 stars. Lots of features, excellent focus. Long Li-Ion battery life. No complaints. Highly recommendAchat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Buy Only if you don't need GPS or outdoor photography
GPS takes 5 minutes to lock on and then starts the process from the begining every time you turn the phone on and off. So if you want to pull the camers out, take a photo and put it away this camera is useless. Another problem is tjat the camera doesn't handle white bright patches well. Whenever you take a picture of something with a cloud it displays the cloud as a grey clump with horizontal stripes in it. So the camera is useless outdoors. So basically it has a faulty compression algorythem. Unless my camera a is lemon I wouldn't recommend anyone wast money on it.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Good camera
Takes very good pictures. Nice 18x zoom. Mostly easy to use, but don't like some parts of the settings menu. Setting the date is difficult for some members of my family, so I have to do this for them (they can do this on their other cameras). It's what I needed
Bought because my "real" camera is too big to carry around the city. I had an old Coolpix that stopped working because I did something to it. This is almost the same, but a little slimmer because the battery doesn't need to be removed. I I were not legally blind, I think it would be easy to use, though the on/off button is too small to access with a glove on my hand. Excellent purchase.
The cameras arrived promptly and in good condition as advertised. The function dial/button on my wife's s9300 had gotten so glitchy it was extremely difficult to use so these were purchased primarily for repair parts. The one with the "battery overtemp fault" was used for the part needed to repair hers and after playing around with the other one I discovered that it would turn on and function properly if you left the battery out for at least 4 minutes. After powering on though it would not turn on again unless the battery was removed for at least 4 minutes. Nikon's website had a firmware update for the s9300 specifically for this problem. After updating the firmware to v1.3 we now have two fully functional s9300's plus the one for parts if needed in the future. I'm very happy with this purchase.Achat vérifié : Oui
