Perfect for my needs.
This item was just what I needed to use my amplifier which was made to be used in Japan. This transformer steps down north American 120vac to 100vac which is used in Japan. I am now able to use my amplifier in the United States and in Canada. This transformer is rated up to 1500 watts or about 10 amps load capacity. For audio use, it's a good idea to use something bigger than the minimum size.
