Nice addition to the Z2 Force
I bought a few of the Moto Mods when I got my phone. The gamepad is a great addition. The controls are responsive and make the games a lot easier to play. It would be nice if the buttons could be remapped for certain games as the default buttons sometimes don't make sense for the game. Otherwise, it's a good investment.

Item does work but the battery is completely shot inside of it. Said tested and fully functional. Only knocked two stars off for that. If I charge it

If I charge it up to 100% and play for 5 minutes it's the phone tells me the battery died on the mod. But it will draw power from the phone so it does still work. All buttons and ports work.

Great for classic games on emulator
Great for NES emulator. N64 is really good too, but some of the games like Mario 64 I had trouble finding the 'sweet spot' to make Mario run fast. Every thing else rocked.

Great idea, designed by your grandmother.
it's OK for casual gaming. but the placement of the buttons are cosmetic and not practical. it's like someone who never played a game, had a vague idea of what a controller looks like, then made this. I look forward to the next iteration of this.

Quality product, but...
The product is well made and I have enjoyed it as much as I possibly can, despite how little I've actually been able to fully use it. Most of the titles I've been looking forward to using it with, aren't supported and probably won't be for some time still (if at all). There are plenty of games that do work with it, it's just they aren't exactly titles that hold my interest. I'm still hopeful that Lenovo/Motorola will find a way to encourage content developers to add controller support so we can see the full potential of this mod.

Some games won't work
It works pretty good except not all games work with it that are shown in the app of compatible games

It's as good as the one from verizon or best buy but $20 cheaper. Very pleased. Was new in the box and I have had no issues so far.

Good product
Seems pretty nice. Fits well, feel like good quality, really like that it has an extra charge port and headphone port.

Great for gaming!
I wish I would have purchased this Moto Mod Gamepad sooner. It works great with all of my emulators. In my opinion, gaming just isn't the same without a decent controller, and Moto Mod did a great job on this one. It's a great controller that reminds me of the touch and feel of a PS4 controller.

It's not universal?
I was hoping it would work with all programs that have screen operated thumb joysticks. I want to use it with my drone. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
