With its Gorilla Glass display and rubberized casing, the Motorola Defy MB525 is a durable and rugged Android smartphone. Able to tolerate heavy use in a variety of environments, this tough touchscreen smartphone resists water, dings, dents, and dirt. Even the USB port on the side of this touchscreen smartphone features a protective rubber cover to keep foreign objects out. Menu navigation is seamless, as the four capacitive controls on this Motorola smartphone work with the multi-touch display. A recessed lens on the 5 MP camera helps to keep it clean, and video playback on the Motorola Defy MB525 is in rich, vibrant color. An innovative music function of this Motorola smartphone is the music player’s ability to display album cover art when a song is playing, as well as song lyrics. An internal GPS receiver and a full Web browser let the Motorola Defy MB525 integrate with Google Maps, and users can choose turn-by-turn navigation, Google Street View, or a 360-degree view of any location they choose. In addition to these advanced features, this Motorola smartphone offers a host of organizational tools, such as a Quickoffice document viewer, a calendar, several alarm options, and a scientific calculator.

    Decent little phone

    This is the best small-form-factor phone I've been able to find so far, and it works great for being such an old model. However, it's definitely not the rugged little black box it's advertised to be. The very first time I dropped it the screen totally shattered and I had to replace it. So if you need rugged, buy a slimmer one and put a fat case on it.

    perfect thanks only one issue; camera takes the pictures upside down..no matter how I turn it and video recorder is super bad quality? do you know about this? I have had this phone befor and it was excellent

    Truly Unlocked works great

    I couldn't evaluate the battery yet because it came without the battery, but it seems to work great.
