Dont make mistakes with other brands, you get what you pay for in this product.
So this product is a bit pricey, however after purchasing a different brand that did not live up to expectations, it turns out to be well worth the money. Last one you will ever buy. Sturdy well made. Just be prepared to utilize those curls and fly's you did at the gym. Arm and hand strength is needed. Made swiss cheese of a 530 chain. Brilliant chain breaker design
The PBR is an evolution of the chain breaker/riveter. An exceptional design, the multi-purpose anvil is an innovation. I would like to see a method of "holding" the anvil in the frame, but I'm nit picking. I found mine on sale, and a better chain breaker/ riveter I've never used! Maybe a trail bike version, light and packable can be developed, but the PBR has a spot in my tool box .I work mostly on European sport bikes.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

A Must have Tool for Installing New Chain and Sprockets.

Good tool.
This tool works great. I had good success the first time I used it. Read the instructions, then watch a video or two, to understand how to use a chain breaker, and what the end result should be. I was able to work to within .005" tolerance on reassembly.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Pricey but works well
Time will tell if it’s a good value. Looks like a good sturdy tool, so I expect it will last. The instructions are printed in small font... kinda small for my old eyes. It’s ok but Ouch!
The majority of this tool is of good quality with the exception of the riveter. It split in half when I was securing the pins in place. The broken piece looks to be made of cheap white metal. As a result, one of the broken halves hit me in the face causing “a bloody mess” and now a scar. Make sure you wear safety glasses when using this tool. Good tool
Bought this tool to put a new chain on my ZX6R. I had never done anything like that before but after reading the instructions, taking apart the old master link and installing the new one was a breeze. Super quick and easy job. Would not have been able to get it done without this handy tool.
