  • Powerful phone, all the best features

I bought this phone mainly for the large screen size when unfolded which doesn't strain my eyes like my previous one. I am able to type using the one screen as a keyboard, keeps from making typos. Playing some of my games on Android 10, to have the phone as a tent shape or L shape allows hands-free play, or if do decide to hold it, more stability. And speaking of game play, I love the powerful processor speed, games have never played this good with no lag. Using the camera took a little getting used to, you have to go fold both screens against each other but it allows you to see your image with clarity before capturing it. I bought the 256 GB version since apps are becoming larger in size, but even loading this phone with all of my favorites leaves me with a lot of empty storage space. Android 10 is a giant leap forward, and being 64 bit which aalows for multitasking is the perfect pairing with the hardware. When folded, the phone doesn't take up much more room than many of the single screen phones. I bought a Kensington belt holster to carry it around, but with the gorilla glass and side bumpers, the phone has plenty of protection from damage. The battery life is truly amazing, lasts a lot longer, about twice as long as my previous phone. Images and graphics are in high resolution, so whether you are looking at photos, videos, etc. They look fantastic. Having Microsoft Office on it is a big plus, as sometimes I do need to use it for professional purposes. As many different phones I had in the past few years, this one phone will easily be to use for many years to come. Although the most single expensive price I have ever paid for a phone, all the features do make it worth it.

  • Just coming in short

It's a real shame, 3 years after launch, the MS Surface Duo is still disappointing, yes, they fixed a lot of things, yes it's smoother than before, but it's got some Achilles heel, that will make this a bad buy even at 400, one quarter of it's original asking price. Let's talk about the plus side, absolutely quality feel, it feels like a premium product, it's really thin, you know it'll be expensive, and it's so like, and screen resolution is fantastic, and the dual screen is such a great idea, I don't know why NJ it more people can picked up on it. now, noto the deal breaker, signal is just plain bad, has very weak antenna, reception will be bad everywhere, making it simply unusable, it doesn't have NFC, making it useless for contactless payment, no 5G, making it out of date the day it was released, software lock ups so frequently that's just frustrating and making it not so useable, add lack of broad support making many screens and display not centered, feeling like this is not a finished product. Microsoft had been known to develop products in a vacuum, and had historically turned out many really bad products, just such a shame, this Duo ended up a flop, when it could've been ground breaking

  • IT'S ALL GOOD FOR NOW

firstly...It's visually appeasing! I can't say that enough. I haven't had it long enough to appreciate it yet and work out all the kinks I run into. I do love it however. It doesn't have the best speaker for paying music, or the best camera...which is crazy...But I am going to keep exploring it before I can give it a real evaluation! One issue I have had is that the left side of the screen with start randomly flashing and moving. The only thing I can do is turn it off and back on...not sure about that!

  • Fragile and finicky

The form factor and concept is great, but the fragility of the USB-C port is a pain. Also, it is is finicky - love dual screens but sometimes apps won't open to the correct screen as expected and app spanning is sometimes hit or miss.

  • Love the dual screens. Once you get the knack of using them, they work well and boost productivity!

I've heard there were glitches to the Duo, but I haven't found anything glaring. I love the two screens and, once I've gotten used to how they work, I find it hard to go back to a single screen phone. It's great when I'm doing a presentation. I can use Word on one screen with my notes, and have the PPTs on the other. It's nice to type on one screen (best done with thumbs) while the text is on the other. Go Microsoft! The only bad thing I've found is the camera. Is functional, but this is not the phone for a photo-junkie. Hopefully the next iteration of this product will have a better camera. Love it over all!

  • Microsoft surface duo

I have had the Microsoft Surface Duo for almost two weeks now and I am loving it so far. I haven't had any issues with it and would highly recommend it to others. I am looking forward to getting the Microsoft Duo 2 to see what all the new upgrades are all about!

  • Visual issues, returned phone

Looks like a great cell phone but I have visual eye issues and a lot of printing that I could expand on my LG phone was not adjustable. Was having more issues then it was worth so I return the phone. Sad because it was really a cool phone

  • Awesome deal on Surface Duo if you invest some effort

I bought this Microsoft Surface Duo “eyes wide open”, knowing full well that it come locked to AT&T. As a Canadian who does not have a service with this carrier, I needed the phone unlocked to be able to use the wireless. A bit of research and perseverance allowed me to unlock the device. As for the bundle, the Surface Duo is great as is the 8000 mAh battery pack that comes as a bonus. I probably could not take advantage of the extended 1-year coverage, but it is .

  • Good product, just as advertised.

It’s a 2 screen foldable phone, of course it’s not little. Lol

  • Miserably fragile.

With the bumper on and the phone closed, a single drop from about waist height cracked one of the displays. Not covered by the warranty and it would cost more than I paid to begin with to have it fixed/replaced.
