    Not perfect, but what can you do?

    The Metabones T Smart Adapter Mark IV- Canon EF/EF-S Mount Lens to Sony MB_EF-E-BT4 works well with many Canon EF lenses as well as other lenses with the EF mount. Focus can be slow, however, so I often switch to manual focus and use the A7Rii focus peaking feature to get my shot... This is not a good adapter (are there any?) for action or birding, however; for portraits, landscapes, and for stills, the adapter works well.

    A must have for every video kit. Sony & Canon offer excellent results in all conditions and every conceivable type of video shoot. The Metabones adapter allows you to easily incorporate your investment in Canon lenses with any professional Sony camera. It's a great combination.

    A Marriage made in Heaven for Canon and Sony

    To own the BEST Mirrorless Camera “Sony Alpha 7 Mark lll” and the Metabones V is the glue that put this perfect Marriage together. Quick focusing with Canon glass on my Sony body. It’s like living in the Perfect World. Human Beings need a Metabones and just maybe we’ll get along better. Our World would be a better place to live. An Excellent option for Canon Lens and Sony Bodies.

    Awesome!

    This metabones adapter saved me from having to buy more lenses. The adapter fits both ef and ef-s lenses perfectly. Auto focus is awesome as well. Definitely recommend this to any looking to use ef lenses on Sony Emount bodies!

    Focusing is fast enough for normal photography

    Fit well, good to use with old canon lenses, video does not autofocus.

    Aperture control

    I’m an idiot thinking this adapter would make all my cannon glass have autofocus. Didn’t think there would be a teeny tiny list of supported lenses for af. That being said, I now have aperture control which was unavailable when using 15 dollar adapters that lacked any circuitry. Having the third pillar of exposure is a huge win in my book. Great condition. Incredible build as expected from metabones. Heavy as lead but worth it.

    Good quality but performance is not good

    Don’t spend $400 on this, buy sigma mc-11 I have both and this metabones is not better than sigma instead it’s worst than Sigma. Hunts a lot, it has same performance in some lens than Mc11 in some cases worst. Save your money and buy the Sigma mc11

    Happy with my Metabones Adapter Canon EF L to Sony E Mount

    The Metabones V is GREAT with my Canon EF L ( 35-350L, 180L macro,70-200L F4 and 24 105L)lenses which is exactly what I wanted. On the non L lens not as good. I am very pleased with this adapter.
