    Great Value

    Measured active parameters using Hickock 754 tester. All well above the median published in the RCA tube manual. They sound great in my new power amp.

    Trial and Error

    No tube , 6V6 or otherwise is perfect for every amplifier . That includes New old stock or as in this case , a reissue . That being said , I tried all of the above in my application with unsatisfactory results . Tried a set of these and bingo ! Zackly what I was looking for . Trial and error .

    Great sounding reasonable 6v6gt's

    Great tubes if you are looking for earlier breakup. They aren't NOS but great for rock.

    Electro-Harmonix 6V6GT Tubes

    Always used NOS tubes for my vintage Black Face Fender amps. However, these work great. In addition, a very good value.

    Great sounding tubes

    These tubes have a great 6v6 classic sound and tone. Nice smooth highs and mids with not too much bass and can get gritty when overdriven.
