Tight Pattern Short Throws
I have had this on my 2008 JK for a couple of weeks now. It really makes for shorter tight throws which take a little getting used to. Not bad, just different. It is a well built shifter that has better quality internals and design than the OEM shifter. There are plenty of folks out there that have problems with the NSG370 popping out of gear and although I have not experienced this issue with my JK I just wanted to get out in front of it by installing this high quality unit. Fairly easy to install by someone with basic mechanical skills. B&M instructions could use some a little improvement but were usable. I would recommend it to a friend.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Tight shifts, no unnecessary play, love it!
Excellent product and quality manufacturing. The shifts are much tighter and shorter with this shifter. The detents feel very solid when shifting into and out of gear. A couple of my favorite things about the unit are that there is much less vibration and wobble of the shift lever when on rough roads or terrain, and that it is much stiffer when going into reverse which eliminates accidental reverse grinds while shifting into sixth gear. I would recommend this unit to others who own manual tranny Jeeps as I feel it is well worth the purchase and installation. Installation was fairly simple, instructions to do so were easily understood. Order/purchase a spare foam shifter seal before installation as the seal is easily torn during removal while installing the new shifter. Very pleased with the performance of this shifter, it is a huge improvement over the stock unit, exactly what I was looking for.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Great product with a minor issue that can be fixed easily enough.
Very solidly built product with strong position detents. You will definitely know when you are in gear and it will stay there better than the OEM shift tower. The short throw is noticeable, but not overly so. The only reasons I didn't give this 4 stars were the steep price and if you install it on a TJ Rubicon and the stock shift lever, you will either have to make some modifications to the console or have the shift lever bent slightly to clear the console and positively lock into 2nd/4th/6th & Rev.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

B&M jeep shifter
2010 jeep wrangler, it's about a 2.5 hours to install, use a strap wrench to remove gear shift knobs. Get one of these, Genuine Mopar Gearshift Lever Seal 52122269AC the 2010 jeep one is just some foam. The shifter will be stiff at first it will get better.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Quality precision construction
This shifter certainly fixed the issue of popping out of gear, but honestly it shift kinda stiff now. So no regrets, does what it said it would do. hopefully it will smooth out as it breaks in.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Incredible difference
This is an absolute difference maker! The shifting is on a “ sports car” level which makes handling a dream. This is a must have purchase if you are a Jeep owner. If you are in it for the long haul it is an essential purchase.
