You get what you pay for.
I think this is an actual lifeproof case but it’s obviously a reject. I’ve had 3 or 4 lifeproof cases over the years for different phones so I know how they should be. I always bought them from Best Buy or from Verizon. I went back to an old phone recently and just wanted to get something not too expensive since I’ll get a new phone in a few months. This one is bad. The switch to put the phone in silent mode doesn’t line up correctly so it doesn’t work. The button on the right side works if I push really hard but the button itself doesn’t actually move. Those I could deal with but the biggest issue is the screen protector. It sits well above the screen so every time I touch it it makes a clicking sound. When I’m typing the letters on the sides of the screen won’t work. I have to push down hard to get to the screen then the phone thinks I’m doing something else. I wouldn’t recommend this case from this selller. I’m not saying the seller did anything wrong - just that these are cases that were not sent to retail stores for a reason. I took the case off to type this and have decided I won’t be putting it back on. $25 mistake.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Ringer/mute toggle doesn’t work
I have had many lifeproof cases in three different model iPhones. Based on what I received... either lifeproof has gone downhill, this is not an authentic case, or I received a defective unit. I’m attempting to return the purchase. Ordered this new lifeproof Fre to replace the worn out one I had on my iphone7... new case has a few subtle manufacturing differences, one of which is a rubber seal behind the camera appears to have been replaced with a molded one that is integral to the case back. This altered case back seems to be the source of the mute toggle not wanting to work correctly. When I Frankenstein the new front with the old back, it works (unfortunately that configuration didn’t pass the water test.) Good news, just ordered a warranty return from lifeproof for the old one which I bought nearly two years ago! hope it works better Will this review update if it’s any differentAchat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Very nice case, but hard to use buttons
This is a very nice looking case and seems that it will provide very good protection. The only issue I have is that the buttons in the case that go over the buttons on the phone are very stiff and difficult to use. For example, to use the power button on the right of the iphone 7 I have to use the tip of my finger and press very hard rather than pushing it with the side of my finger as I have on other cases. Similarly, I often have to use a fingernail to toggle the button that goes over the "silence" slider. Frankly I would rather not have the case buttons that go over the phone buttons, though that would make it less waterproof, but the iphone 7 is waterproof anyway. In short, it's a very nice, good looking case, but a little difficult to use. Perhaps it will loosen up as time goes by. Or I may eventually cut those 2 buttons off.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Doesn't work for me
Seems very bulletproof and waterproof, but trying to operate the buttons on the phone (on/off, volume, mute) is really difficult. Without knowing it, I muted the phone when I installed the case. Couldn't turn off the mute until I removed the phone from the case. Also it's difficult/impossible to insert the charging cable - had to find just the right one before it would go in far enough to connect. I'm done with it. I'm going back to the Otterbox - it isn't waterproof but is very durable and protective AND all of the controls work! Mostly decent case
The case works pretty well, it completely shields my phone from dust, bumps and water while still looking stylish. My only complaints would be that the initial installation was a bit difficult and there were a few plastic flakes that dislodged during the process that required me to remove the case once to clean them out.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Not Bad, obviously an open box item
I haven’t fitted the cases to our phones yet but at first look one of the cases wouldn’t completely seal because one of the corner latches was bent. I was able to bend it back and I’ll leave feedback on how well they work when I fit them.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Would not recommend nor buy again
Looks like a Life proof case, but has little difficulties when using it. This would have been my 3rd life proof case and next time I will buy it at the store, that way I am sure that I am getting the real thing . Just as described
I bought this case as a replacement for the exact same case I’d initially purchased with my phone from the retail store. Great quality - just not meant to be chewed on by a teething toddler! Ha!
