    Great product....

    I really like my LG G8 it is a wonderful little phone. I personally liked my LG V40 more, after having my v40 for two and a half years it ended up with a virus and unable to function. So after purchasing another V40 and the phone not being factory unlocked like it was advertised I returned it. I than went with the LG G8 and I am quite pleased. I am a big LG fan and I am really sad they are no longer making smart phones. This is a great phone that is able to take care of all your basic needs. I would recommend this product to others if you choose a phone that is factory unlocked as long as you have an appropriate SIM card it will work with whatever carrier you choose, cheers!

    This is the best value you can buy right now.

    I'd say this phone is underrated... but it's actually highly rated by most reviewers. Just nobody bought it which makes it a steal in the $300ish dollar zone. There are some unique hand gestures that are the bad mark to this phone. But it's new tech and not other phones have them. So just don't use the hand gestures if you don't like them and this is a great little phone. I came from a Note 10+ and am happier with this phone. I love the large screens on phones and liked that on the Note 10+. But there is a trade off. And I like the more manageable size of this 6.1 inch display. One weird thing... all of my most recent phones have been glass one the front and back. But for some reason, this phone is markedly more slippery. No idea how that can be. They all had Gorilla glass, but for some reason, this one is slicker then snot on a doorknob. I'd buy a case immediately.

    Great phone

    I was hesitant to purchase an open box phone. I wanted a quality phone, with a good camera and solid battery life, with wireless charging and expandable memory. I also looked at the Samsung S10 variants, and Pixel products. I've had this phone just a few weeks, but so far, awesome phone. I upgraded from an LG G6, and I'm completely pleased with the phone. Great battery life, quick performance, great photos. No issues. It was easy to activate on Verizon straight out of the box. The phone itself appeared unused, still covered in cling wrap, and packaged with the OEM charger and cord. Completely satisfied with the phone (and purchase.)

    Still learning, but quite satisified

    I was uneasy about changing from Motorola products to and LG, but the transition has been smooth. The phone is fairly intuitive, and easy to work with. I'm still learning the settings, and where things are, but I'm very happy with the reception, sound quality, etc. The battery life is OK nothing spectacular, and I don't know what the part about "small form factor" means...the size of the phone? It's great.

    Disappointed...

    I have had a LG 3 and now and lg5 I decided to stay with the LG brand and get an LG G8 and I do not like the new design. I was not going to use the hand gestures but the phone came with it the phone is very different from my LG 5 it seems they decided to make things a little more complicated plus I do not like the thin size it does not fit comfortably in my hand as my LG3 and lg5 do. It is very slippery as other reviewers have said it even slips on the table if it is not flat and can easily slip out of your hand. It did not have the time on the home screen. I had to get another app widget to move to my home screen and of course that did not have an alarm so I had to use the clock on the phone for an alarm. There were too many extra apps on there and a lot of games that I do not use I had to upload a new weather app the weather does not show on the home screen as it does on the LG 5 it was hard to find text to speak the sender for my incoming texts. I finally gave up, brought the phone back and returned it. My photos are all over the place screenshots and camera shots were all mixed in when they did the data transfer. The price was right but I was not at all happy with the phone.

    Liked it so much I replaced the prior one I had with the same

    Great phone. I had one for two years but turned out that after paying the Verizon insurance for all that time that the replacement failed shortly after I received it. I cancelled that and, after looking at what was out there, decided to just buy a new LG G8 for about the same as the deductible. I like the size of the phone and seems like they are getting bigger every time you turn around. Good photos and sound. Very happy to have another.

    LG works for me!

    I've always used LG phones and the G8 ThinQ is just as good as any I've had before. My last one, an LG5, lasted me five years, an actually it was still functioning ok, just didn't have much battery life. I like the size of the G8 and I'm enjoying using it.

    Good phone for the price.

    I'm happy with this phone (after I figured out how to set it up with my carrier). Good storage space, especially after installing a 1 micro card! The battery lasts all day as well.

    Great deal for 128GB LG flagship of 2019

    Cosmetic condition was as new. Battery length is perhaps not as new, but gets through a full day with plenty of charge left. As much screen real estate as you can fit on a device of this size.
