This is not a kid’s toy. This is a true hobby grade buggy that requires skill and understanding to setup and keep running as it was intended to be used. It’s durable can take a beating and more enjoyable when multiples are in use.
It does have some weaknesses when used properly. Expect to replace the front and rear shock stays, they will break after many impacts and should be replaced with aluminum parts. Second the replace the front knuckles for the same reason mentioned before; again consider replacing with aluminum. Third replace the plastic dog bones with metal CVs this will increase dependability, decrease wear on your bearings, and give the buggy a more responsive feel. Word of caution, Kyosho has discontinued (02/07/19)many if not all of its aluminum aftermarket parts so buy these parts when/if you can.
