  • Didn't fix the problem

I installed the kit in my Kodak 750 H projector. The parts seem to be of good quality. There is a video on Utube on this repair which I followed. It took about an hour to install and was fairly easy. It was obvious that the old parts had deteriorated. When I ran the test after installation, my projector still didn't cycle. I must have another problem. I think the parts were properly priced but there can be other issues with the projector. My point is you may have another problem beside the kit parts.

  • Old but like new.

I was very impressed with this slide projector. It looked brand new. Very clean. It also worked just like a new one. Whoever refurbished it did a great job. The price was a bit on the high side but I thought maybe it’ll work. It did! I was very satisfied.

  • I have only used the projector for one s...

I have only used the projector for one short session but it all seems to work fine except for the advance which I'm doing manually. The problem may be with my old carousels and I can easily turn them to the next position by hand. We are looking forward to seeing slides we've not seen in about 50 years. No regrets about the purchase.

  • Kodak Carousel was the workhorse for slide projection in America's schoolrooms for decades.

If you still have a slide collection, the Kodak Carousel projector is the unit to have to show your slide-memories. Their dependability can be judged by the fact nearly every schoolroom in America had access to one one for educational use.

  • Works as advertised - but no instructions.

Worked flawlessly in my Kodak 750H projector. Recommend buying the kit that has the fix for the auto focus, cycle solenoid link and complete instructions of how to install all of the same. This kit had no instructions. I purchased a kit that had the cycle solenoid link necessary to repair a projector that would not advance and instructions but missed ordering the kit that included the gearing necessary for the auto/remote focus parts.

  • Outstanding directions and the right parts!

The directions by Mr. Fargo were as important as the repair parts. It took me a few hours to undertake the repair, but it went smoothly because of the detailed step-by-step instructions. I have an early 850 Carousel and thought I would have an easy job of fixing it - just with the replacement parts, since I helped design the autofocus system for the Carousel Projector almost 60 years ago. At Kodak, I designed the electronics, photocell configuration, and unique self damping servo motor. I worked with a terrific person who created the autofocus function for the Carousel Projector, Frank Kottler, with support from his draftsman/designer, Fritz Leutung, and chief optical designer, Bill Ewald. Thank you to Curt Fargo for helping rejuvenate a pretty nice family of slide projectors from the 1960’s.

  • Love that we could find a projector like this.

My husband got all of his family's old slides after his parents past and no one had a projector these days to be able to view them. This was absolutely perfect. Projector worked great forgot how hot the bulbs get thought felt we could only watch one carousel before letting it cool down.
