    Great auger for "hole hopping"

    OK, we all like to handle some tools before purchasing, and this is one tool that I wish would have been local to check it out, but was not. Highly recommend this tool. On the first trip out with it, we punched 30+ holes, and it is no harder than drilling with a big bit in your drill. I was using the Milwaukee fuel 18v drill with the series 5 (uber) battery and had 1/2 battery life left when checking the battery. This is more expensive, but when testing the ability to overlap holes (thus, a larger diameter hole) I just laughed at how easy / safe this is! No regrets at all. If this ever is stolen, it will be replaced immediately. Safe Fishing!

    Works well...

    Works well...it cuts a nice hole and is very light you must have a very powerful drill to run though...I have a hamer drill with 700 tourqe ..I wouldn't want any less...with about 8 inches of ice with drill loaded with a 2.5 amp lithium battery I got 21 holes I figure darn good being its a 6 inch hole..now we got 12 to 14 inches o f ice..I only got about 10 or 12 holes per battery...but let's be real I'm drilling 6 inch hole with a cordless drill....I wish I had a 1000 tourqe but I'm getting by ok ..I just bought an extra battery so with 3 battery I can get 30 holes in 12 inches of ice...I can live with that...I think its a little pricey...I paid 171.00 for mine...I don't know it does have carbide blades but I think its slightly over priced but what isn't these days...I don't have to get gas all over my hands and I Carry drill in its case in my sled ..k drill I lay in sled it weighs nothing...I'm happy with it so far...tip...keep it straight as you can and don't press your guts out on it just put a little pressure and let it cut ..I don't worry if it takes me 15 seconds or 20...that for idiots

    Light. High quality.

    Light, easy to maneuver, sharp. Looks like a high quality ice fishing tool. Can't wait to use it and save my back from the heavy lifting of my gas auger.

    K-Drills are awesome!

    This is the 2nd K-Drill I've purchased and these things are awesome! I use it on small lakes where no power augers are allowed and is not a problem toting it to jig for perch while waiting on the walleyes to hit baited tip up. I prefer the 6" model just in case a hungry northern pike comes along.

    Drillin machine!

    Light weight and good quality the blade cover is a little big and bulky but drills good and the best part is free lifetime blade sharpening.

    No more Gas auger!!

    I drilled close to 60 holes over the weekend, 5-7 inches thick, on ONE battery (Milwaukee 18v), performed flawlessly. Even put 3 holes together for one big hole a few times in case of catching a "monster" and was completely impressed. Will be selling my 10" Eskimo soon. Still can't get over how light the whole set up is!

    Ice fishing upgrade

    Love this drill. Light weight, quiet, no gas so no fumes, fits in my clam rod bag, and I upgraded my drill that was needed anyway.
