Rugged little headset
I give this headset a 3.5. Pros: Rugged clear voice and hearing fits in my ear and stays there Cons: Small buttons are hard to press Must be in your ear or you will not hear the phone ring Ok, I consider myself to be a connoisseur on bluetooth headsets. I have had all different brands over many years from Motorola to Jabra and Plantronics. My favorite being Plantronics Edge, however the edge and one major flaw, it is sensitive. I have not been able to make one last past 6 months. (the Mic stops working) The Steel comes with 2 windsocks,an earloop, mobil charger and 3 different size eargels. It fits inside my ear and stays where I put it. On a call, I tried small tasks like running water and walking out to my car and opening doors and such. The other party did not hear anything. Some even said it sounded better then my Edge! Range is about the same as the edge, about 30 feet unobstructed. Coupled with Jabra's Assist app, it will locate your headset and send out a tone so you can find the headset. It will also read your text messages to you and does a great job pronouncing the words and who the message is from. The buttons seem stiff and small even with my smaller fingers. I do not see finding these buttons with gloves on. The power button is located on the inside next to your cheek, next to impossible to hit while wearing. The usp port is close to the power button. The door on the port makes it hard to plug in and seems flimsy. I do not see the door lasting long. However how can it be waterproof without the door? The final and very important point is you must be wearing the headset if it is connected to your phone. The headset mutes the phones ringer and only rings in the ear while connected. I even called Jabra customer support and they stated you must either turn off the headset or turn off bluetooth on your phone. This becomes a problem when the phone is ringing and you have to turn on the headset (with stiff buttons) and get it inside your ear before it stops ringing. All in all, I give it a 3.5. I like it. a 5 would be the ruggedness coupled with the Edges software. The 5 year warrenty makes it a great deal. I purchased this for $25 factory refurbished.

Hurts inside of my ear
Jabra is a good brand, but the size of the earbids hurts the inside of my ear so bad i can barely stand to wear it. Maybe I have small ears, I don't know. Also, the button to disconnect is so small, its hard to get to when done with a call. I am actually looking for another Bluetooth. I wear it for hours while working and I cant handle the pain. I was so hoping for better from such a good brand.

Waste of hard earned money.
I was going to give this thing six months before writing a review in thought that it's something I'm not use to and maybe that's why I didn't like it the first few days. To start this thing is uncomfortable, I have a normal sized ear and I can only wear the ear bud that needs the ear loop attached also and yet it still makes the inside of my ear hurt after wearing this for a few hours. Additionally it tries to fall off my ear because the ear loop is to big. the length of connection sucks and when you do get out of range obviously it disconnects from your phone but when it reconnects it doesn't allow me to hear calls through it until completely relink the Bluetooth from scratch as if I just bought it and pulled it from the pack. Call quality sucks and is very hard to hear the person you are talking to with no noise present any little noise and the person you are talking to becomes impossible to hear. I have had several Bluetooth ear pieces over the years from the jawbone to Walmart $19.99 specials. I would buy a Walmart $19.99 special any day over this thing. My conclusion save your money and buy something else because a 5 year warranty don't mean nothing if it can't perform good enough to warrant keeping it in use. Can't break what you store in the junk drawer.

could be good
doesn't have different size earbud covers,so doesn't fit my ear well making volume too low. Everyone told me it sounded great while on phone call,but if any background noise I can't hear unless I press it hard in my ear and hold it there.

Great quality but horrible design
This Bluetooth performs and functions in excellence. However the most horrible thing about this device is the way it fits in your ear. It does not stay tight to your ear it keeps falling out. I’ve tried many different techniques iand ordering different parts in the Bluetooth just is not a good design to stay in your ear. I appreciate the long range the clarity and the quality of sound. But I may just have to return it and purchase another one that fits otherwise I won’t be able to use it. Jabbra need to have smaller your hooks in your jails that come with this device because the ones that I provided are flimsy and not durable and stable to the human ear. And the yellow earbuds that come with it are utterly horrible. I want my money back.

So good I bought a second one.
Fits great. Very comfortable-I often forget I'm wearing it and forget to take it out when I leave the car. I like it so much and the sound is so good that I bought a second one to use in the house so I can work hands and cable free.

Would be nice to have volume control on unit
Although the packaging looks like it's "Just for Men" 5 minute hair coloring, it's not. This headset has very sound quality, but there is no volume control on the device. The on/off switch is also in an awkward position. There a variety of earpiece attachments included.

Not the best
Seems to be well made for ruggedness other than the charging port cover. It is chinsy rubber. The part that goes in the ear is large and puts a lot of pressure on the cartilage of the ear causing pain. The other issue is there is no volume buttons on the unit, it only uses the phone volume which is not loud enough for me to hear well.

I have purchased many
Positive: Good quality product. Battery last about 7.5hrs max or 5hrs constant use. Chargers filly in 1hr or less; 35min=70% charged. It has as a strong transmission distance for Bluetooth (about one middle class household). The sound quality is about the best I have heard in Bluetooth (not as good as military grade direct bone audio transfer). I use it for pandora music between calls. The price makesit easily replaceable and thus a better daily tool; I carry 2 and I don't need to concern myself with recharge time at all; 2. Negative aspects : I gain an extra hand but the clarity of my voice is reduced during transmission. The fuzzy microphone attachment doesn't help. The earbud is yellow attacks clashes with the black when it is not in use. You really need to use both the ear huck & the active earbud or it will fall out your ear during outdoor activities. dipite being water resistant in ear it cannot survive the washing machine or a car running it over.

Worst earphone ever
Volume is way too low, built for rough environments? Not at all, sound quality is terrible, is like they EQ it for low frequency pass only and took out the mid and highs, which is a bad idea for voice calls!!! The ear pieces are not ergonomic either, ear hurts in less than an hour having them on, could you imagine after a work shift, no way. Would think twice before buying Jabra again.
