    Legitimate, New Hoya HD3 CIR-PL filter, at the lowest price I could find anywhere

    Legitimate Hoya product. Exactly as ordered. Shipped same day as ordered. Very protective packaging. Free shipping to Alaska. Works just like it should. I really appreciate, especially, the greater light transmission offered by the Hoya CIR-PL versus all other brands. It makes it much easier to compose a dimly lit scene, plus, I have an extra stop or so of exposure to work with. The Hoya listed for $224 everywhere else - ouch - but Event Camera's price of $167 made it a lot less painful!! In short, I'm extremely happy with the product, and likewise with Event Camera. For any future filters I need, Event Camera will be the first place I check!! :-) I took some photos last night at one of my favorite scenic spots in Alaska's Chugach Mountains. The CIR-PL filter is rotated 90 degrees between the two shots. You can see the effect of the polarized light clearly in the water reflections. You don't see much effect in the sky, here, because this view is almost directly opposite the setting sun.
