    heats quickly and makes quick NEAT work of big jobs

    cuts through foam like butter! worth every penny. i will say that i learned to let the wire do the work on thicker pieces instead of trying to push it through. wire bent a little due to my attempt to "help"it, but still works perfect. it heats quickly and is SUCH an improvement as opposed to knives and the mess they create. lightweight and simple to use

    Fantastic Foam cutter

    Building scenes for Vacation Bible School and this tool made the job much easier in fact I wouldn't want to do it without it. My only complaint is I needed a shorter 3" blade which I think should be supplied with the 6" and 8" blade and I had to special order.

    Fantastic Foam Fillet-er From my Favorite Foam Factory

    Love this foam cutter! It's very easy to carve whatever shapes I desire. I was using a Woodland Scenics cutter before it broke and I ordered one of these. Cuts much faster because of the thicker wire, and I don't have to worry about the wire breaking and having to replace it every 30 minutes. Will likely place an order for another Foam Factory product in the future.

    Foam cutter

    Haven't used this one yet, however this is my 3rd one, works great until it's doesn't, breaks very easily, not very robust at all, model railroad scenery.

    Great Guitar Neck Dovetail Joint Heaters

    I use these foam cutters for guitar repairs. They are perfect for heating the dovetail joint of an acoustic guitar. They make the removal of the neck a more clean and less messy job. I have been using the steam method for a number of years now, and when I saw some YouTube videos of Luthiers using electric heaters to heat the dovetail glue joint, I thought that these, fine wire foam cutters should work. They do! Just add a little water with an eye dropper as the neck joint warms up and the glue softens just enough to pull the neck out of the pocket. I have four units now, two are 4 inch long and two are 3 inches long. Generally I use two units to heat a neck joint. This techniques is a little slower than the steam method, but there is no steam damage to the finish that often needs to be repaired afterwards.

    Inexpensive and it shows, unfortunately

    the "knife" wire is far too delicate, and bent very quickly. It clearly takes some practice with this to get the timing right when using it. Move too fast, and the blade will bend, but move slowly and "hairs" and excess strands form

    Hot Wire Foam Factory Cutter gets an A

    Still getting the hang of it, but it is pretty simple to use. Plug it in, and when it is heated enough, use it like a pen. It cuts through the foam like butter. It does help to have a steady hand, as the slightest movement can make a straight line zig and zag. But, the bottom line, it's great.

    Like a hot knife through butter

    I’ve never used anything like this, and didn’t know what to expect. It is so easy to use and does an amazing job of cutting through thick styrofoam. It is Great!

    Well

    Well it works and it gets hot and does the job but the one I got sent, the needle was bent so I had to bend it back straight-ish other then that is seems cool😎
