    It is better (and more accurate) than trying to use a "table" knife.

    The "hot knife" concept works OK but the wire itself that does the cutting needs to be more robust. If I try to move it too fast. the cutting wire, or blade, as it were, bends to the point it might break, so the working edge (wire) must be moved slowly. It would be better, and probably more expensive, if the cutting wire were more robust.

    Hot Knife is a time saver - clean & fast.

    Hot Knife is a time saving addition to my workbench. It cut a clean line with minimum residue on the blade. Very easy to use, I was amazed with the clean results and should have been using this product all along. Crisp edges when cut with a smooth action. Can't go too fast or too slow, but that's easy to control.
