If you ice fish, this is the best upgrade to a striker 4
Using the Garmin striker 4 with the regular transducer worked okay to tell me depth of an ice hole, but it was hard to tell what was a fish and where it was, because the dual transducer is directional, and needs to remain parallel in the water. The ice ducer makes everything easier to read and use. It stays vertical in the water column, and it reads what's under you in a cone shape. Easy to install, works great. I'm not sure how I was ice fishing without it!

Pleasantly surprised
Since I already had the Striker 4 portable pack it was a relatively easy decision to try the ice transducer based upon research. On the ice a few easy adjustments were made to the Striker 4 setting and in no time it was working perfectly. Performs as well if not better than my Vexilar FL8.

I love so much
This fish finder probe is very good. It allows me to see the trajectory of underwater fish more clearly, and allows me to have more catches.

Great product
Make sure you look at your sonar unit first . I have a echomap 75sv ( 12 pin connector ) this is a 4 pin transducer . You need two additional cables 4 pin to 8 pin 8 pin to 12 pin Just a heads up Garmin carries the cables .
