Hand-held slide viewer is truly handy.
Not as good as a slide projector like Kodak Carousel or Bell & Howell cube system, or a light board for sorting, but is small and indispensible for immediate hand-held viewing with no fuss. Uses 2 batteries (or the AC adapter which was not included) for the light bulb inside. (There is another type of slide viewer which is smaller, more portable, and folds down almost flat because it has no light bulb. The light bulb style gives a better view. The size "2x2" refers to the 0.35mm film size PLUS the cardboard or Fuji plastic protective slide mounting.)

Easy and Bright
I needed to be able to see some slides that were my dad’s. I just needed magnification and light. This made the slides bright enough to see.
