Great products & service
I was going to try to do this on my own with junkyard parts and a programming cable, but it seems people are aware of the value of these and yank them immediately. So I went this route, and I'm glad I did because they not only programmed it, making it plug & play, but they also informed me of the extra parts I needed for my particular car (a gps antenna, a new USB hub mount (which is cheap and doesn't really securely lock in place), and a new USB hub (a genuine Ford part) as the old USB/SD/RCA hub was incompatible (I actually forgot to put it in before starting it up for the first time and it said "USB hubs not supported, please disconnect"). I've used it a couple of weeks now and it's been great. I also picked up a wireless android auto device that plugs into the USB port, so I've got wireless android auto! The only thing I would recommend is updating the very basic instructions... They said it would most likely be 7mm bolts holding it in... It's actually 2x T25 Torx for the plastic surround, 4x T25 Torx for the screen, and 4x T8 Torx for the screen mounts, which I didn't have anything that small in my toolbox and ended up using an iFixIt tool kit, which was a bit difficult because the factory seems to have used blue thread locker on these tiny screws.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

I am happy with the product performance so far. All functions are working - has been 5 days now. My experience for installing was fine, using the right YouTube video for my 2013 F150 Platinum. I Could not have done it w/o finding the video for my trim level. It is quite a process as you start at the glove box and work your way over to the center console to switch out the screens. Add to this installing a new antenna (easy, just more screws and steps) and swapping out the phone plug in and USB port in my center console for one that is compatible with Apple Car Play--again, not difficult, just another step. The most difficult part for me was the location of some of the screws - having to get way up under the dash at an angle and have only a quarter turn clearance for my socket wrench (I needed a longer extension). But, even with my rudimentary skills, all went well and it has been plug 'n play from the moment I first turned on the power.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Top notch product, and fantastic tech support! I purchased a Ford Sync 2 to 3.4 upgrade kit for my 2014 Ford Escape Titanium. It took me about 40 minutes to do the entire swap. The kit came with all the parts needed, even the tools to do the work. As a surprise bonus, they also included a screen protector for the radio touchscreen. They included a step by step instruction guide (but I found a few videos on YouTube that were easier to follow). They provided instructions on how to message them via WhatsApp for final setup. When I messaged them it was the middle of the night in China, so it took them about 6 hours to reply. After that, they were very responsive! Keep in mind since they are in China, morning for them will be late in the evening if you are in the US. They messaged me and made arrangements to complete the radio setup at 8:00 PM my time. Before the appointment, they provided easy to follow instruction for installing remote control software and Forscan radio programming software on my computer. I had it all ready and waiting for them, and had the OBD to USB cable they provided connected to my computer, so it only took about 10 minutes for them to remote into my computer, run Forscan to complete the radio setup, and have me power the car off and back on. Everything works perfectly! It controls the radio, will receive normal and HD radio channels, CD player, and the air conditioning. All the steering wheel buttons work correctly. Note: Ford Sync 3.4 only supports wired Apple CarPlay. If you want wireless Apple CarPlay, you’ll need to buy a wireless CarPlay adapter.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Highly Recommend this Upgrade Over 4DTech
Amazing kit. I would recommend buying your own dash removal tools because these ones are very brittle, but thats not what you're paying for here. You're paying for an incredible upgrade from SYNC 2. All the OEM parts, wiring, programming done for you. I was between this screen upgrade and the one from 4DTech, and I went with this one. The stereo turned out exactly the same as if I paid the $1800 from 4DTech. I highly recommend this company for OEM stereo needs. I'm quite thrilled with the quality and result!

Turns a 2011 vehicle into a 2021 vehicle.
Having one of the first ford vehicles to have SYNC 2 (2011 Ford Explorer Limited), this update is incredible and well worth the money, especially with how valuable used cars have become lately. Simply Michigan was really helpful in instructing me what I would need and it was plug & play. Now I have Apple CarPlay! Protip, be very careful removing the bezels, they are very fragile and nearly impossible to find replacement, (Mine was already broken before the install and I was lucky enough to find a junkyard part to use after I installed SYNC 3).Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

you wont regret having navigation in your car.
Great upgrade. I love having nav. If your phone is programmed into sync, when you look up a point of interest there will be a phone number and you can call it from the nav screen. Let say you look up a restaurant, it will display the phone number, you can call them and make a reservation even if your far from home and don't know the area or what restaurants are available, then nav will lead you to it.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

I was skeptical but once the item arrived, it was installed and ran like a charm. Use it everyday day now and could not ask for for a better useful item. Highly recommend the item to anyone who is moving from non navigation TO Navigation system using Sync 3. Your Bluetooth, your camera, your XM radio works great too! Great Replacement Part.
The dealership was trying to charge me 1200 dollars to replace my APIM. I saw a video on YouTube of a guy replacing his module. He recommended this company to get the module from. Within a couple days of ordering I received a package with the module and all the tools you would need for the replacement. It took about an hour to install the new module. It works better than ever. Great value for money
All necessary components were included in the package, with the screen/module being well wrapped in bubble-wrap. The installation was very straightforward - disconnect and remove the old module, put the new one in its place, reattach the cables, and replace the media hub.
