Great multi purpose light!
Was not expecting a universal light that would work great on my quadcopter and as an auxiliary flash for my phone as well but that is what this bright rechargeable light is capable of. Great navigational light
At 4 grams you can increase your vlos by alot . Would highly recommend easy to charge an last a couple flights on one charge . Stick it anywhere or buy 2 an know what is the front an the back . Great productAchat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

The LED is bright but the mounting solution is of no use.
The LED is bright, but for the price of it a 3D printed case to protect and mound it with Zip ties would be a great addition. Especially as the the item is rather pricey and really has no protection and a piece of double faced tape the size of a postal stamp is really not a solution to mount it on a drone or anything else.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

CHRIST THIS THING IS BRIGHT!!!
When I first received the product, I thought that I had been had. It came with no case; just a PCB with a Li:Po battery affixed to its underside. But when I turned it on, the first thing that sprang to my mind was, "CHRIST THIS THING IS BRIGHT!!!" I used the included square of double-sided tape to affix it to the upper surface of my drone's fuselage, and charged it using the USB charge cable that was furnished with the product. Then just after sunset, I took my drone to a nearby area (void of people, cars, etc.) to launch it. I calibrated the drone, waited for GPS acquisition, and THEN fired up the strobe. I buzzed around the area for approx. twelve minutes in very heavy (24.90mph {40.09kph}) winds. Any time the drone was facing at least somewhat in my direction, I could very plainly see the strobe happily blinking away. Another benefit that I can see at once is that if a drone equipped with one of these strobes goes down and its flight battery pops out, this strobe would greatly aid in drone rescue & recovery efforts because it is fully self-contained and does not rely on the drone's power source. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and will be purchasing another for the underside of my drone as soon as I have some more $$$. MEGA KUDOS TO FIREHOUSE TECHNOLOGY FOR MAKING AND SELLING THESE AMAZING LITTLE STROBES!!! :-)

Very bright, nice size
With a new Mavic Pro I wanted some additional lighting so I first went with a single Cree Strobon standalone, which seemed bright and was easier to see than the standard Mavic rear LED, but just wasn't bright enough. I decided to try the ARC II which of course has 4 LEDs rather than a single, but it blows the Strobon out of the water. It is almost twice the size of the Strobon so I had to re-design a 3D printed bracket, but the increased size is a easy trade for the level of increased brightness. Bright strobe light
Very bright (actually blinding when too close), light weight so no impact to drone flight time, and easy to install (I used velcro not the supplied double sided tape since I wanted to be able to remove it easily). I used it on my drone at dusk for the 1st time today and can vouch that it definitely improved its visibility. No problem being on for 25-30 minutes, didn't try to run longer than that. Very bright and works on my drone...Rain will wet circuit board
Pro: Very Bright (seriously don't look at it when you turn it on). Easy to charge Extremely light weight Con: 'shrinkwrap' protection and double stick tape....funky for the price. It will get wet in the rain. Lastly, I highly recommendAchat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

It's Universal
Though it was most likely created for the slightly over rated extremely over priced (in this pilot's opinion) DJI birds it is extremely compatible with 1 of my favorite manufacturer Hubsan most of all model 501 x4,X4 901 basic and high altitude model and Syma 8x pro and Syma 5wx pro. Very vivid and bright at all altitudes The strobe is powerful and can be seen from anywhere The spot light is bright enough if located in the right spot below the camera you get great night time photos and videos. If I was to offer 1 change or additional feature it would be the ability to remotely turn it on and off.
