Probably the easiest and least expensive way to get into indoor FPV flying. Truly Plug-N-Play which is so helpful to get you up and flying. This model has brushed motors while the 'S' model is brushless. This makes these cheaper, but to be honest you won't notice much difference for casual flying.
The radio has a built in battery on a regular USB to charge. The FPV battery for the goggles is also a simply USB charge. The tiny 1S batteries for the drone itself are easily charged with the included board, but you can buy charging boards that will do six batteries at the same time for about 20 bucks. These batteries are cheap so buy five for around 25 dollars and fly all day if you want.
The three modes make for fun flying. The highest rate is quite sporty and it's easy to smash it into the ceiling. The mid rating is excellent for zipping around large homes or small indoor spaces. If you have a large, open house or an open garage bay- this can be a real blast. It just cannot handle very much wind, restricting it to indoors or perfectly calm days outdoors.
The FPV signal is not spectacular, so range is about the average house or yard. Fly much further and the signal drops quickly.
For non-competitive flying I highly recommend these. It's cheaper than the brushless 'S' model but is more than capable of decent flight times and lots of fun.
This thing is great, really good for beginners. I’ve always flown DJI drones and wanted to slowly transition into FPV and I think this thing is perfect especially because there’s no binding or beta flight configurations needed just charge batteries and fly!! Not to mention this thing takes a beating while learning to fly with goggles.
