Synopsis"The Eberron Player's Guide" presents the world of Eberron from the point of view of the adventurer exploring it. This product includes everything players needs to create their character for a DD campaign in the Eberron setting., The complete guide to building Eberron (R) characters. The Eberron Player's Guide presents the film noir world of Eberron from the point of view of the adventurer exploring it. This product includes everything a player needs to create their character for a D&D (R) campaign in the Eberron setting, including new feats, new character powers, new paragon paths and epic destinies, and even a new 4th edition version of a classic Eberron class: the Artificer!
I only bought this because it has a character class not found in any other player's guide for this edition of D&D. I don't like D&D's practice of splitting everything into multiple books, so that if I want to play the way I want, I have to buy a bunch of products. I get this is how they're making money, but it's obnoxious. Furthermore, I think the format of how the game information and rules are displayed is too focused on fluff, and it can be difficult to parse the important information from the flowery descriptions.
Perhaps this is what people like about D&D. But it is for this reason I am a D&D player that is being dragged along, rather than being a die-hard fan.
