    Good product that actually works

    I ordered this to replace a stock CDI on a 1986 Honda TRX250R. It shipped and showed up just as scheduled and worked great to get my quad back running. The only negative thing is that this CDI is slightly smaller overall than the stock version so the rubber boot on the machine that it mounts in didn’t fit correctly and I had to figure out how to support and restrain it. Overall this product worked as advertised and has me back riding again. I have tried many other brands of aftermarket manufactured CDI’s and they worked to fire up the motor but as soon as I put any load on it by shifting into gear and letting the cluck out it was too much for them and it would cut out or die completely.

    Works well

    Tried several cheaper options that didn't work on our 86 trx250R, this one worked great out of the box, had to go down 1 main jet size on the carb, runs great now.

    This cdi is garbage Do no buy 1986 trx250r would run but nooo top end Replaced with a ricks and fixed the problem!
