Great for Diverting Messy Glow Fuel Exhaust
I have these exhaust deflectors on a number of my glow fuel-powered aircraft. I really like that it helps to divert the oily exhaust away from the aircraft while looking stylish. Sometimes, though, the challenge is to keep it from falling off the muffler stinger. The included tie-wraps which stay in place via the molded-in ridges are perfect, but no matter how hard you tighten them, they could slip off with time. Some muffler manufacturers have a lip right at the exit of the muffler which prevents the exhaust deflector from falling off. On those that don't have a lip, I discovered that you can make your own ridge by applying some JB Weld around the stinger exit. Now your deflector won't fall off.

Easy peasy!
Best and least expensive way to deflect all that oily, messy nitro engine exhaust from your model! DuBro has been around for a long time for good reason. They have myriad pace setting innovations and products that the RC community has come to rely on for quality and value for the Sunday sport flyer and professional competitor alike!

GREAT EXHAUST. DEFLECTOR EVER !!!!!
I USE THIS ON MY “TOYAN “. ENGINES !!!! WORKS INCREDIBLY. WELL. & LASTS A LONG TIME !!! ITI IS MADE OF HIGH TEMP . SILICONE. MATERIAL !!!!!!! A LITTLE EXPENSIVE , BUT WORTH IT !!!!!!

Keeps the oil off
My RC plane is easier to clean at the end of a flying day since the spray from the muffler is redirected.
