    Spur gear stripped

    Installed this upgrade on my brand new truck. Work great for two runs. On third run I started hearing weird noise. Seconds later truck stops moving. Took apart and spur gear completely stripped. To make matters worse the stripped spur gear cause the pinion gear to snap off the motor shaft. So now I have to replace the spur gear with a more durable metal spur gear along with a more durable onion gear AND I have to purchase a new motor. Seems like the drive shaft and axles are ok but what do I know? I only drove the thing for 30 minutes total TOPS. Don’t order this package. It might have just been that the motor from dromida is a POS. But the spur gear was definitely stripped. Get the metal part or keep the plastic part and don’t get the lipo battery. Or get a different car that you don’t need this kit.

    Dromida MT4.18 drivetrain kit

    I purchased this kit for my Dromida MT4.18 brushless and it fit perfectly. It completely removed my issue with front axle lag caused by the factory driveline twisting under extreme acceleration. The hubs included are a huge upgrade to the stock plastic ones. All in all well worth it. If there was one thing I would like to see in this kit it would be matching nuts for the hubs.

    upgrade

    I like the fact Dromida offers so many different upgrades for there stuff. I have another !/18 scale different brand, more expensive and all you can get for that is replacement parts.

    Great buy for your dromida rc truck

    Great buy for my dromida rc truck. Now I don't have to worry about breaking any axles, like I did day one with the plastics axles. They also look really nice on the truck, they're durable and I'm happy with them

    Must have with a li-po upgrade

    The dromida db4.18 is a little beast especially with li-po's. It'll only be a matter of time before you start shredding tires and snapping axles. Not gonna brake the aluminum stuff.

    Very nice upgrade

    Bought this for my son and it is great quality. Not extremely hard to install but does take a little knowledge to complete. Seems to be very durable.
