Low price
Item arrived promptly. Price was very good. I rounded out the female socket end of the extension that hat fits thru the hole in the back bumper of my truck when i tried to lower my spare tire. I ended up letting out a lot of air from my spare tire to allow less tension to be place on the cable that is used to hoist/ lower the spare where it is pulled up against the frame when stored. The take away is if it doesn’t lower in a reasonable manner with what seems to be a reasonable amount of cranking force then maybe there is to much pressure in your tire jamming the system. The downside to this approach is you don’t want to let your spare tire have so little air pressure in it that that in itself becomes a problem. Note. I did not compare the strength of this items metal composition to the original that would have come with my truck so take all of this with a grain of salt please.
