OEM CD Players for GM vehicles
While some folks buy Alpines, Kenwoods, Pioneer, Sony and others as "upgrades," I prefer and have had very good luck with buying low-priced CD/AM/FM radios and installing them in my vehicles. The worst expense is having the dealer reprogram the unit to the computer in the car for $50 or so, but older (1998-2002) vehicles have a workaround where the radio "tells" you a code to give to the dealer and get the code to unlock the radio. One guy took the computer board from the old radio and inserted into the CD Player to unlock it, and it worked! The OEM equipment pairs perfectly with the speakers still in the car and sounds awesome!
