This a very interesting [period] model. However, and perhaps, because of the age of the old tooling the overall quality of the end product is lacking... There are numerous fitment issues that suggest parts are out of scale or just too poorly constructed to assemble a quality finished product.
The one major highlight of this model is the body shell - it's well constructed and doesn't need much prep work before painting, And, the decals are a nice added touch. If you have a good parts bin and the talent to cobble things together you can put together a decent finished product.
It is an older model kit with fewer parts then the newer ones, But in a skilled modelers hands it can be great. For a beginner it is easy and turns out to be a nice build' It falls in to the category of older AMT kits.
Knowingly bought a used product. Hoped for better, I hope most of the critical parts are there. I'm happy in that I now can create some thing from what I do have. Sale was swift with no hitch.
